This drum-type screening machine is designated for two-fraction sorting or separating from impurities in coffee grains, different spices, peanut, seeds, cereals, herbs, etc.

Construction of the sieving machine

The machine consists of a loading hopper, calibration drum with stainless steel sieve, two storage hoppers with baffles for the product calibrated, gear-motor, bed.

Operating principle:

The calibrated product enters from the loading hopper into the calibration drum, where under the gravitational and rotational force the product moves along the surface of perforated stainless steel mesh. In accordance with a cell size of the calibrating sieve, small particles of the product fall into holes and enter into the storage hopper to the lowest point of which a receiving bag or a container is attached. If the receiving container is full, an operator closes the baffle and changes the container.

The product not sifted through the sieve is continuing to move along the inner surface of the drum. Then it falls into the storage hopper. The size and shape (round, square holes or slotted sieves) of calibrating sieves meshes can be changed depending on the sifting material. The machine is equipped with a brushing system for continuous cleaning the sieves and blades that prevent from a quick running of the product through the machine and to ensure the product cleaning quality.

The drum screening machine can be equipped with a drum revolution regulation system and dust extraction system.
