Heating elements for packaging equipment
Socket and pass through heating element for packaging machine is a heating device heating metal parts of different equipment and also heating liquids and gases.
Cartridge heating elements are more efficient in operation, because they emit a significant part of the heat, which can be transmitted both by contacting and convection.
The cartridge element device has an outside cylindrical shell. There are contacts for connection to the equipment or a power network on the one end of the element. The heating element is hidden by a shell and is a spiral, which has high resistance and insulation with an insulating powder. This powder has very good thermal conductivity. The heating element is connected to a contact rod. To prevent moisture from entering the heating element the contacts are sealed. And in order to prevent oxidation, the shell of the cartridge is made of stainless steel.
The standard power of the heating element is 25 W / cm2, and the temperature of heating the shell should be within 500 0C.
