Chamber-type berry and mushroom dryer KST
Chamber-type berry and mushroom dryer KST is a drying chamber with a heater device made of incombustible material.
Main features and advantages of using chamber dryers:
— The most important feature of KST dryers is the ability to work on local fuels and on the sites remote from the place of industrial processing of the raw materials;
— The dryer can be operated completely autonomously. It is just required to connect the dryer to a diesel generator and fill the combustion chamber with the firewood;
— The dryer can be put into operation in 20 minutes. During the period of procurement of natural raw materials it is extremely important to dry raw materials (mushrooms, berries etc) very quickly. This problem becomes especially acute in the rainy season, when the natural humidity is significantly increased. It is necessary to prevent the raw materials deteriorate and become moldy. The using KST chamber dryer will help to prevent such situation and use the raw materials efficiently.
— It is highly recommended to use an additional set of trolleys with the trays to increase the productivity of the dryer. From the experience of using such machines usually the time to out the trolleys with the product from the chamber and unload / load the trays with a new batch of the product can reach several hours. And with a large flow of the raw materials every minute counts and cost money.
— The dryer is convenient and easy to operate, does not require the connection of additional devices, is efficient and reliable in operation. The drying time can vary from two to ten hours depending on the type of the product coming into processing and the type of fuel (for a gas boiler).
— The air is pumped with the fans as a coolant in to drying machine. The drying chamber has big volume of the loading capacity, due to which it is capable of simultaneously processing a large number of the products.
— The end load in the dryer is used.
Control system is based on the following three levels:
- Temperature control system – controls temperature and speed of heat transfer from the heat carrier to the drying chamber;
- Control and adjustment system of air humidity – shows temperature simultaneously in 4 places of the drying chamber and controls the outgoing air humidity indicating the residual humidity of raw material.
- Autonomous control system of drying time – controls drying time and switches off fans at the required moment or after the heat generator has stopped working
