SKP series vertical conical mixer with planetary auger

SKP series vertical conical mixer with planetary auger is used for mixing heavy products and products with different densities in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries. This type of the mixer differs from the SKP conical mixer by having an additional auger. In the mixing mode a screw-mixer rotates in one direction, and in the discharging mode the reverse regime is switched on. It can be partially or fully made of stainless steel on customer’s request.

Advantages of the vertical conical mixer

• High degree of mixing even for the products with different densities;
• During the mixing process the working augers raise the product from the bottom up, further loosening it, which is especially important when mixing clumping and caking ingredients. The working cross shaft with the screw gears rotates in a circle, ensuring uniform mixing;
• Full automation of the mixing process and as a consequence, the absence of an operator. This factor plays a very important role when mixing hazardous ingredients;
• Low-level noise;
• Vertical layout saves the working area and provides with the added convenience for placing «story» productions. It is possible to install the machine in the separate workshop or in the floor overlap;
• a high angle of inclination of the walls of the cone ensures preventing the product from hanging on the surfaces and simplifies the process of unloading and cleaning the mixer.
