Dragee drum MB-120 is used for the application of glazing, polishing, dragee layer on nuts, raisin and dried fruit as well as for the application of colouring and flavouring additives. It is used in the confectionery industry.
The dragee coating machine consists of the bed, the gearbox and the boiler. A plate is mounted inside the bed. The gear motor is located on the plate. The drum rotates with the help of bearing units, which drive the plate. The speed of rotation and rise of the drum is adjusted by the frequency converters, one of which is responsible for the speed of rotation of the drum, and the other regulates its rise. Loading and unloading process is accompanied by tipping and lifting the drum. One of the frequency converters is responsible for these actions.
The coating drum rotates while processing and ensures the effective mixing of the food additives, colorants, glazes or other substances with the product. The additives make the product more attractive due to the new color or taste characteristics.
The equipment can be completely made of stainless steel, thus to extend the life time of the machine. To ensure convenient use the drum is equipped with a rotation speed control unit, which allows you to monitor the feed process and provides comfortable working conditions.
